Time to Make the Donuts
With the donut craze all around us, we thought it was high time to learn how to make our own! Erin Gardner obtained her training at Johnson & Wales Baking and Pastry Arts Program, and has worked in the restaurant industry for many years, firstly at Sofra Bakery in Cambridge, MA, and most recently at Marini Farm in Ipswich, MA. She quickly learned she “loved the science and art of baking” and was ready for a long-time career in culinary arts. She has her favorites and fresh, artistically decorated, flavorful donuts are always on the top of her list. We will be making both biscuit donuts and a french cruller, with plenty of tasting involved!

Caldo Verde, or green soup, is a Portugues staple, traditionally make with kale, potatoes and even chorizo. Join Sara Tavares, also known as "The Spunky Baker" in the kitchen as she shows us how to create this one pot meal. Savory & Sweet Souffles from the Farm Kitchen
Souffle is a baked egg-based dish originating in France. Using farm fresh eggs from our Powisset chickens, Sara Tavares, also known as "The Spunky Baker" will lead this workshop as we create both a savory (blue cheese) and sweet (chocolate) souffle. After our work in the kitchen is complete, we will sit down and enjoy our creations!
