Minnesota parents with children in immersion education or considering immersion education.

MINNESOTA has been a leader in IMMERSION EDUCATION for years. With two-way and one-way immersion models, some languages begin in Pre-K and continue through High School.

If you are a Minnesotan parent with children in immersion, please join M.A.I.N. (Minnesota Advocates Immersion Network) Parents today. Members are able to post questions and join discussions, learn about language education advocacy, best practices and network with parents from other member schools.

MAIN Parents membership is comprised of parent representatives of Immersion Schools in the greater Twin Cities area and St. Cloud. We meet approximately 5 times per year at rotating member schools to hear speakers on important immersion topics such as international intern programs, finding qualified teachers, school support and fundraising, international immersion programs, testing, measurement, and more.

For educators and administrators interested in Minnesota immersion, please link to: http://www.mnimmersion.org/. This site provides a wealth of information and documentation about immersion practices, academic benefits, ongoing licensing and further training opportunities.
