Infant Massage

Sat Dec 10, 2016, 9:30–11:30 am PST

We are so pleased to welcome Jack Duroc-Danner, LMP at Monroe Therapeutic Massage for an introduction to infant massage. Content covered will include benefits of infant massage along with instruction on using gas/colic, teething, and sleep massage routines for your babies. Please bring your littles along with a small bottle of oil and a cozy blanket since we will use the floor for demonstrations.

Year One is a free drop-in group hosted by SFOM parents, Katrina Alexander-Stern (23 month boy/girl twins) and Anna Smith (2 1/2 year old twin boys). RSVP's are helpful but not necessary to attend. Our first half hour is an informal meet and greet followed by announcements/intros. The second hour will be dedicated to our presentation. Please come with mismatched socks and enjoy coffee, snacks, and conversation during our first time offering of infant massage.

All expectant and new parents of multiples in their first year are invited to attend (and babies are welcome, of course!). Siblings in good health are also welcome. The group is casual and late arrivals are part of being a new parent. Come when you can and leave when you need to. Feel free to bring a blanket to lay on the floor for your babies as well if you like. There is free parking in the lot behind the church off NW 59th street. Follow the sidewalk to the church and the Tree of Life room entrance is off NW 59th St. The room is stroller accessible.
